Kids in the Street (Limited Tour Edition)

by The All-American Rejects

/
  • Record/Vinyl + Digital Album

Limited Edition 2023 Tour pressing with special light-refracting inks on top of rainbow foil covers and Hot Pink vinyl!

Please note: while we package every single record in brand new/factory condition inside of reinforced Amazon-style record mailers, there is ALWAYS inherent risk of cosmetic damage to the album sleeve (dents, bends, creases, scuffs) from the process of moving from facility to facility within the USPS system. As such, we only guarantee the playability and condition of the vinyl record itself and not the condition of the sleeve or inserts. To avoid the risk of any sleeve or insert damage, you can always purchase the album from a physical record store. Thank you.

Also: in the spirit of fairness, these albums are being sold in different waves. So if you happened to be living your life like a normal person, missed a drop, see that it's "sold out," fear not - another wave will be right around the corner.

Finally: because each order is processed and packed by actual human beings, and due to anticipated order volume, please allow up to 14 days for tracking to be posted on your order (though we will certainly get to each order as soon as humanly possible!). Thank you in advance for your patience. We love you.

Includes unlimited streaming of Kids in the Street (Limited Tour Edition) via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more.
    ... more
    ships out within 14 days
    Purchasable with gift card

      $28 USD or more

about

“Kids in the Street” is the fourth studio album from The All-American Rejects. Originally released on March 26, 2012, this album was the follow-up to 2008's "When The World Comes Down" and an absolute cultural moment, fueled entirely by the breakaway success of the hit single “Gives You Hell,” the band’s highest-charting single in AAR’s storied career.

Having already climbed to the most dizzying of heights in the pop/rock realm in the years and albums prior, "Kids in the Street" captures The All-American Rejects amidst an expansive period wherein various members had become wholly fluid in the fine arts of studio album creation, arrangements, and production. The result is the most lush, fascinating, and intricate program the band has ever put to tape... the type of record that artists make to reward active, engaged listeners - those who are still willing to slow their lives down enough to sit still and let everything happening in every nook and cranny of a well-crafted record to envelop the experience.

2023 marks the first time that this album has been in print on vinyl in over a decade. To celebrate the band’s first North American headlining tour in the same span of time, Dark Operative is proud to initially issue an exclusive limited tour edition of the album on your choice of hot pink and/or silver vinyl housed in a jacket printed on premium holographic rainbow foil stock and featuring a special alternate layout by friend and Dark Operative agent Brent Eyestone.
