A departure from their previous pop punk records, WTWCD goes for a more mainstream pop rock sound and delivers. Personally, not my favorite record by the band, but it has way more to offer than Gives You Hell. Deserved to go more than gold status.

“When The World Comes Down” is the third studio album from The All-American Rejects. Originally released on December 16, 2008, the follow-up to 2005’s multi-platinum “Move Along” album propelled the band even newer, more dizzying heights, fueled by the breakaway success of the hit single “Gives You Hell,” the band’s highest-charting single in AAR’s storied career.
2023 marks the 15th anniversary of “When The World Comes Down.” To celebrate this milestone (and the launch of the band’s first North American headlining tour in over a decade), Dark Operative is proud to bring the record “home” (the original pressing was on Magic Bullet Records before the rebrand) via a proper reissue LP that includes the long out-of-print/lost-to-time rarity “Sierra’s Song” on an exclusive 7” picture disc flexi included with every copy.
The 08/11/23 press pressing (current) is available in two color variants (Baby Blue, Crystal Clear). Both versions include the “Sierra’s Song” bonus 7” picture disc flexi. Copies will be available initially starting August 11, 2023 on the band's US tour dates and then made available as soon as the rest of the stock shows up here at Dark Operative (please be patient - we will list them when available).
